Converting between text and binary
Encode writes each UTF-8 byte as eight bits separated by spaces. Decode reads groups of eight bits back into text.

Frequently asked questions
Why does one character produce more than eight bits?
Characters outside the ASCII range, such as accents or emoji, use several UTF-8 bytes and therefore several groups.
