使い方

Reading permission bits

Read is 4, write is 2 and execute is 1. The three digits stand for owner, group and others, so 755 gives the owner full access and read plus execute for everyone else.

  1. Tick the permissions for each group.
  2. Read the octal and symbolic result.
  3. Copy the chmod command into your terminal.
