使い方

Calculate a duration

Pick a start and end date and time. The calculator shows the calendar difference plus total days and total hours.

  1. Choose the start date and time.
  2. Choose the end date and time.
  3. Read the breakdown or copy the result.

Order does not matter

If the end is earlier than the start, the tool swaps the dates so the duration is always positive.

How are months counted?

Months are counted on the calendar, then remaining days, hours, minutes and seconds are added. This avoids rounding errors from average month lengths.

Does it account for daylight saving time?

It uses the local time zone of your browser, so daylight saving changes are reflected in the hour totals.
