URL Parser

Developer Utilities

Break a URL into protocol, host, port, path, query and fragment, and inspect every query parameter.

How to use

Inspect a URL

Paste a full URL and the tool lists each component plus a table of decoded query parameters.

  1. Paste a URL including https:// or http://.
  2. Review the component table.
  3. Copy the JSON result if you need it in code.

Encoded values

Query parameter names and values are displayed decoded, so %20 appears as a space.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I get an invalid URL error?

The browser requires an absolute URL with a protocol, such as https://example.com. Relative paths cannot be parsed.

Are repeated parameters shown?

Yes. Every occurrence is listed in the parameter table in the order it appears.
