Decoding a token

Paste a JWT and press Decode. The header and payload are shown as JSON. The signature is never validated here.

  1. Paste the token.
  2. Press Decode.
  3. Inspect the header and payload claims.

常见问题

Does this verify the signature?

No. Decoding only reads the token. A valid looking token may still be forged or expired.

Is my token stored?

No. Decoding happens in your browser and the token is never sent anywhere.
